In 1993 he began his studies at the Civic Violin Making School in Milan and received his diploma as a Master Maker and Restorer in 1998.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>He studied with the following teachers:<\/strong><br>Lorenzo Girodo (History of musical instruments)<br>Claudio Canevari (Acoustics, Chemistry and Documentation techniques in restoration)<br>Renzo Mandelli (Preparation and application of varnish)<br>Gabrile Negri (Restoration workshop)<br>Luca Primon (Violin making workshop)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Marcelo Vianna Cruz was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
